A CIGAR PRIMER FROM A LEATHER AND LAKOTA PERSPECTIVE

The cigar often conjures a sense of power, mystery, success, and celebration. Within Leather circles, the cigar evokes power and raw sexual energy. Those who engage in the ritual of the cigar often find that it is also an equalizer and a bridge, connecting folks who may never otherwise cross paths. As Beast has explored his Lakota heritage, he has found a deeper understanding of the cigar as an expression of tobacco, which is considered a sacred medicine. This workshop, led by Beast will include smoking where permitted but can be done in a non-smoking environment as well. He will cover general cigar knowledge and history, as well as some of the history within the Leather world and certain aspects of the indigenous beliefs and spirituality of Beast's Lakota tribe.

UP IN SMOKE
CIGAR SERVICE AND PLAY

Cigars have a long history in the Leather world, but many are just discovering the connection that can be built through the fellowship of the leaf, or how incredibly hot it can be to add cigar service to your high protocol play. Here, Beast (he/him) and echo (she/her) will lead you through a brief primer on cigars including a little history, understanding various types and characteristics, selection, and storage. The heart of the class will be focused on cigar service, including the various tools and accoutrement involved in cigar smoking and their proper use. We will cover preparing a cigar, cutting, lighting and presenting. as well as some of the more erotic practices common to cigar service in the Leather and BDSM world. We will end on a discussion of cigar play and ways to use various parts of the cigar in a scene. Where possible, this class will include demo and class participation. Attendees are not required to bring anything but are welcome to if they would like.

He will briefly touch on basic safety, but attendees of this class are assumed to have some level of experience or knowledge of fire play and basic dungeon safety. This class will focus on advanced techniques such as bursts, fire bubbles & other tricks of the trade, including Beast’s signature COLORED fire. Beast will also discuss incorporating other play styles and media into fire scenes, as well as sharing their experience on what not to do.

201 NEEDLES AND MEDICAL PLAY

Not for the squeamish or faint of heart – Beast (he/him)and echo (she/they) will take brave souls through the fun of needle play. This class will look at the differences between play piercing and body piercing, how to perform a basic blood draw, and blood play. as well as incorporating other forms of play and healing with needles. This class includes a combination of discussion and demonstrations.
